Conference Dinner

One- or two-day ticket holders can purchase a ticket to the conference dinner. Additional conference dinner tickets can also be purchased for non-attendees.

Virtual Attendance Explainer

  • The immersive option allows a delegate to watch all plenaries, to choose which parallel sessions they want to watch, ask questions of presenters and network with other delegates on our online, conference platform Hopin
  • The immersive option is recommended for presenters who cannot attend in person as it allows them to tune into their parallel and get involved with the Q&A session
  • The passive option will be a single streaming option with open chat to other viewers only

Registration Terms & Conditions


  • Walk21 Ireland is organised by Walk21 and Technical University Dublin who, from now on, will be referred to as, “the organisers”.
  • Virtual and in-person attendees at the conference will be known as “delegates” from now on unless otherwise stipulated.
  • Walk21 Ireland takes place from 19 to 23 September 2022 and, from now on, the entire event or any element may be referred to as, “the conference”.



  • Please note that the terms and conditions set out refer to both virtual and in-person delegates unless otherwise explicitly stated.
  • Please also note that the terms and conditions apply to all delegates, regardless of whether the ticket was purchased or given.


Tickets and Fees

  • Delegates must pay in full online when registering.
  • Refunds are available for all tickets until 23:59 Irish Standard Time on 31 August 2022.
  • Fees are per delegate unless otherwise stated.
  • Online payments will be taken and managed by Walk21 using Stripe, a secure online payment system. Please see Stripe’s privacy policy here.
  • Tickets can not be swapped; delegates should request a refund and purchase an alternative.
  • Early bird tickets are available until 23:59 Irish Standard Time on 31 July.



  • The conference will be held in line with relevant and up-to-date government guidelines with regards to Covid.
  • The organisers reserve the right to cancel in-person conference elements in line with government advice with no refund to delegates but will endeavour to provide a full online event insofar as possible.


Cancellation and Amendments

  • The organisers will not be liable for any failure or delay in the delivery of the event which is caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, i.e. act of God, war, government restrictions, etc.
  • The organisers reserve the right to cancel all or parts of the event without refunding the price of tickets.
  • The organisation reserves the right to amend the conference programme without prior knowledge given to delegates.


Delegates’ responsibilities

  • All delegates attending in person are asked to wear their conference badge/lanyard/wristband at all times whilst in attendance.
  • Only pre-registered delegates and delegates who register on the day can access conference sessions.
  • Delegates attending at each venue must follow the directions of the organisers.



  • Please note that filming and photography will be taking place throughout the duration of the conference by the organisers for promotional purposes; delegates attending in-person conference elements will be deemed to have provided consent in relation to their personal data being recorded on film or in photography. Data will not be retained for longer than GDPR allows.
  • No data collected by the organisers is shared with any third parties as per TU Dublin’s privacy policy and Walk21’s privacy policy.
  • The organisers use secure online payment and registration, and do not record or hold any payment or banking details provided by delegates.
