Culture Night 2022

Every year, for one Friday night in September, Ireland’s cultural institutions and organisations open their doors to the public for an evening of celebration of culture, creativity and the arts. The evening seeks to actively promote the belief that this rich and varied culture is alive, treasured and nurtured in people’s lives, today and every day.

We are delighted that, this year, Culture Night will take place in the same week as the Walk21 Ireland Conference! And, if that wasn’t enough, the Grangegorman Development Agency – that works with TU Dublin – is holding walking tours to share information about the fascinating history of the area. For more information about the history of the area, check out their website! Details of the walking tours will be available soon.

As well as these great walking tours, the evening is an opportunity to see buildings not usually open to the public, to engage with the arts and soak up a great nighttime atmosphere very unique to this night. Events will take place over the island of Ireland and all are completely free of charge (some require advance booking).

Keep an eye on Culture Night’s social media accounts and their website for the timetable announcement. We strongly recommend you stay in Ireland to attend some of these wonderful and unique events if you can.
